DOM PÉRIGNON VINTAGE 2009
LIMITED EDITION WITH TOKUJIN YOSHIOKA
Art direction for the DP Vintage 2009 limited edition.
Visuals experimentation with cristals and packaging creation.
Time goes by,
Unbreakable,
Flying in an endless race.
It’s the only rule men can’t go round.
And it’s the only rule Dom Pérignon always followed.
Until now.
Conceived in 2009,
Due for 2018,
Brought to the light in 2017.
This Vintage 2009 is the first ever to see the daylight before its date of birth.
It’s in the past, present and future.
It was created yesterday, today and tomorrow.
It doesn’t really matter anymore.
Why should creation be contained in the confinement of the intangible The vintage 2009 steps out of the time line breaking the most unbreakable of the rules.
Dom Perignon Vintage 2009 should have come out of the cellars in the future, but is brought to the light now instead. This vintage is the first to be born before it should. It’s lost in a time slot that doesn’t exist. A parallel universe Dom Pérignon would like to express through a multi-sensory and immersive experience using sound and image. An experience to explore the limits of perception and the possible synergies between arts and science.
And to express this vision, we imagined an atmosphere in line with Tokujin Yoshioka aesthetics, minimalistic and futuristic.
