This book is a collection of memories of people who lived in a foreign country for a specified time. It can be seen as an alternative guide that explains various cities from the point of view of different people, each one is a city according to what it represented. It is a unique way of explaining the feelings and curiosities that the city made the inhabitants feel.

All material that appears - both photos and text - is real, so the style of each chapter and the city has nothing in common with one other. You can see the personality and interests of each person looking at just the type of object that has contributed to define the city. Cities are mostly European, due to the majority of them being in a Erasmus exchange program. This fact does not make the project less interesting but quite the opposite, since it manifests the evident differences between people and places , without changing culture or continent.

The content depends entirely on what each author has tried to provide as much meaningful content to explain the experience. Everyone expresses their feelings in a different way and has preferences and this is reflected with these what they keep to remember what they’ve experienced.
